Donna is fascinated by painting the human face. At times she will have a model; other times she paints faces from her memory or from her imagination. She paints directly on the canvas, without drawing first. Donna doesn't use a consistent style or method - she chooses these to suit the subject and mood she wants to portray. Her paintings are often done by intuition. The infinite variety of choices makes this work continuously exciting and interesting for her to do - more like play than like work!
